30 minutes creativity per day… Day 48! Photoshop and fairy wren


Back to the fairy (blue) wren to have a play with Photoshop to “colour” him in.

I’m learning about layers and sizes of the brush – apart from changing shades of colours all the time. It’s rather like drawing and sketching with coloured pencils ☺


Today I focused on the black areas, the beak, the tail and the blue feathers.


Here’s how I’ve gone (before my brain tired…):

Just for fun, here’s the blue layer from Photoshop, so that you can see the sort of detail of work that is hiding in there:


It does look rather odd without the definition of the outlines of the bird in there ☺

Definitely want to get this little man into and/or onto textiles ☺
