30 minutes creativity per day… Day 13! Hitomezashi completion.

There is definitely something relaxing about stitching a simple running stitch and making it into something else!

Further to yesterday’s stitching (see photo below):


I have now stitched the perpendicular rows using a pattern of two rows the same, followed by one the opposite (ie. two starting with a space, and the other staring with a stitch).

Here you can see the pattern starting to develop:


…and here is the finished pattern:


Quite a fun pattern!
