NEW!! I’ve been designing and printing fabric panels – to use in many different projects!
I’ve been having quite a lot of fun playing with photos and designs. So much so, that I’ve been printing my photos and designs out onto fabric and stitching into them.
Actually, I’ve been printing onto fabric and stitching into it for a while now with free machine embroidery:

A number of people have been asking me whether I would print out my designs onto fabric so that they could have a go at either embroidering them and / or using them as is in projects (eg. quilts, bags, and so on).
Sooooooo, I’ve done just that!
There are a number that I have designed and printed out and I will be placing them up on Etsy so that you may purchase them – some of my frogs are already up for sale. They are from photos of my pet frogs (yes, it seems like we have a zoo here).
My most recent designs (which will be up on Etsy in the next few days) include some using vintage artwork as part of the design:

And then, for those of you who like to create jewellery, I have done up a sheet of matching 1″circles that you may print out onto card or paper to make matching jewellery with (eg bottle cap jewellery):

I intend to do up matching collage sheets for many of my fabric panels.
The latest fabric panel that I have designed is rather special to me. It includes my gorgeous first male sugar glider, who sadly passed away some years ago now of old age. Sugar gliders are nocturnal, so here he is under the moonlight:

I have so many more ideas for designs for my fabric panels! I’m hoping you like them so far.
Each panel is 6.0″ square, plus a 0.25″ coloured seam allowance so that when you are stitching the panel into your project, you don’t have to worry about any white fabric showing if you miss slightly (and haven’t we all……). The panels are printed onto “Quilters Cotton” (which is 100% cotton) using water based inks – so there is no change to the hand of the fabric.
